Designed for compatibility with Burndy L dies and Alcoa 6000 Series crimping dies, this tool provides versatility and precision for various connections. One of its standout features is the ability to easily swivel the head 90-degree after completing a connection, allowing for straightforward removal of connectors. For added convenience, removing the tool from its stand reveals a lifting eye, making it suitable for use above ground level.

The RK6040 requires a single-acting hydraulic power source capable of 10,000 psi (700 bar), while the DK6040 variant needs a double-acting hydraulic power source at the same pressure. It comes equipped with 3/8 IN screw-type hydraulic couplers for secure connections. To ensure portability and protection, the RK6040 includes a durable steel carrying case with designated storage space for dies.
