CAS Number 1996609-93-8
4CzBN is a well-known benzonitrile based sky-blue TADF fluorescence emitter with four bulky carbazolyl groups evenly distributed on the benzene ring next to a nitrile group. The absence of any bulky group at the 4-position for 4CzBN, still produces the twisting of the carbazolyl groups at 3- and 5-positions.
Comparing with non-polar 4CzTPN which is symmetric in structure, 4CzBN has one less nitrile group leading to a lower charge carrier balance.
