3DPA-DiKTa is a MR-TADF pure red emitter with three electron-donating diphenylamine (DPA) units symmetrically attached to an electron-accepting acridine-5,9-dione (DiKTa) core at the positions opposite to the central nitrogen atom, characterized by relatively small ΔEST of 0.20 eV, narrow FWHM of 56 nm, and high photoluminescence quantum efficiency of 60% in 2 wt.% mCP doped films with emission at 617 nm.
Due to the preferential horizontal orientation of the transition dipole moments of the emitter, OLED-TADF device based on 3DPA-DiKTa as the active layer material exhibits bright, narrowband red emission in doped films, showing great performance with maximum external quantum efficiencies (EQEmax) of 16.7% at λEL=613 nm. When 4CzIPN is used as an assistant dopant, hyperfluorescence (HF) device based on 3DPA-DiKTa shows significantly improved efficiency roll-off and higher brightness.
The MR-TADF green emitter 3TPA-DiKTa and blue emitter Mes3DiKTa are also available in sublimed grade.
