HTL Solar 4 PEDOT Complex
As an alternative to HTL Solar 3, HTL Solar 4 PEDOT Complex is another option for use as a hole transport layer in photovoltaics. The PEDOT formulation based in higher boiling point solvent anisole (CH3OC6H5) using an alternative counter ionomer to PSS. Anisole, titled as methoxybenzene, has a distinctive smell reminiscent of anise seed with a boiling point of 154 °C. It is a non-halogenated solvent that can promote highly crystalline semiconductor thin films with longer drying times.
Applicable in both standard and inverted type organic solar cell architectures, anisole based HTL Solar 4 exhibits good wetting and coating properties on most active layer materials, i.e. perovskite and polymer solar cells. HTL Solar 4 serves as hole transport interlayer (HTL) material between the active layer and electrode.
Stored at dark cool dry place with temperature not exceeding 40 °C, do not refrigerate.
